I am feeling inspired today, to get this little old blog of mine happening again. I have had lots of exciting news from some of my past wedding clients, and it got me wanting to express my happiness at being involved in their amazing wedding days, and to be involved in other ways in the future, as their families grow. To me, there is nothing more exciting than photographing, and being a part of, new beginnings.

So to start off with, I am writing about one of my favourite weddings, and an amazing couple, who have just announced that they are expecting their 1st child early next year. Michelle and Jarrah came to me around the middle of 2011, after Michelle was a bridesmaid in another gorgeous past wedding, that was at the beginning of 2011, Kylie & Clint {there will be a post on their wedding coming up soon too, stay tuned for that one!}.

Anyway, Michelle & Jarrah came to me as soon as they had set a date, and were both so excited with their plans. They were planning a beautiful carnival themed wedding, with lots of mutual DIY involved, and lots of fun ideas. They had ordered some signage from the US for their backyard reception, Michelle made her amazing lollypop boquet, and the groom's step-mum made the circus marquee, to dress up the carport.

Jarrah, and his boys, as they were fondly called, were more than happy to have lots of pics getting ready, and there were lots of laughs. Really were a very emotional bunch, so happy to be involved with the wedding.

Michelle was just such a stunning bride, so colourful, and we all had a blast.

Jarrah was so happy to see Michelle, it was truely a beautiful moment.

The plan was to get some carnival themed shots at Victor Harbour, but the carnival wasn't there, so we compromised, and moved on, and the boys made their own fun...
